Hi again, is there an easy way to stop unwanted feedback when my hands come close to my ears? Besides lowering the volume.

Yes and no, so feedback is usually from loose fitting domes or molds, the sound escapes the ear canal, if your using open domes not much can be done, for those in the severe/profound losses this is acceptable, so long as it’s not kicking off all the time.
There’s whistle block features that can be adjusted in the software, but this is a last resort, gotta get the tight fit sorted first, yeah just reducing volume or gain in certain frequencies doesn’t help much with speech comprehension.

So I went to using the power domes and set the default volume to 85%.
Now I’m experiencing the “Kazoo” affect on most speech while watching tv. Changing to comfort setting helps but speech is still schrill and it degrades hearing other sounds.
I have read other users complain about this and I contacted Phonak years ago when I had the problem with my paradise S10’s. They said there was an easy fix and would contact my audiologist.
I wonder if you have encountered this issue and possibly have a solution?
Thanks
