Phonak Target Program Options

In the attached screenshot, is the Program Options tab for my Speech in Noise program.

For users of Phonak Target, as you are aware, there is a circle with crosshairs inside along the slidebar for Hearing Aid Mircophone, Sound Relax, Noise Block, Wind Block & Whistle Block.

As you can see from my set up, my settings are all set where the “crosshairs” are with the exception of Sound Relax, which is all the way to the right of scale.

My question is, is where the “crosshairs” is determined by the or is this the same for everyone? I can’t find a comprehensive theory of operation guide for Phonak Target, only found a very basic step by step guide that could probably be understood by a monkey.

If you could tell me if yours looks different that mine, that will probably answer my question.

I compared your Autosense 3.0 to my Autosense 4.0 and of the same program options available the crosshairs were identical to yours.

Circles with crosshairs appear in lots of sliders in Target. I always assumed that these were the optimum slider positions calculated by Target based on your inputted parameters.

Exactly, it’s all based on your /formula used and acoustics entered in your client.

Step Mum and I have both V70 and M70 and they are identical

Both my V70 and my Step Mums V70 show the same.

Both my M70 and my Step Mums M70 show the same.

My P70 show differently despite being the same.

All mine are set at 0.

Thank You to everyone who replied to this thread.

Based on all responses, most of you said your program options sliders had the circle with crosshairs identical to mine, and it didn’t matter whether we are talking Autosense 3.0 or Autosense 4.0.

I am sure all of our are different, plus I am using Adaptive Phonak Digital Contrast as the fitting formula, which maybe none of you are.

So the circles with the crosshairs on the slidebar remain a mystery.

I doubt if an audiologist will chime in here.
