KS10 compatible with PHONAK TV CONNECTOR V2

Can I connect my KS10 to the Phonak TV connector V2?

Unfortunately I didn’t buy the Costco TV adapter when I got my Kirkland KS10 hearing aids.
Instead I use tv optical to a Mii B03 Bluetooth 5.3 Transmitter Receiver. This works ok but has latency issues and is difficult to get connected to and at times drops the signal.
So I have read about the Phonak adapter here on this forum and think it might be a better solution than continuously messing around with Bluetooth.
I use Bluetooth connectivity to my KS10s on both my TV as noted above and my laptop (via the audio out headphone jack Aisidra Blutooth adapter). I think I need V2 instead of V1.
I looked and these are available on ebay for reasonable price.
Any advice is greatly appreciated because this is very important for my job performance.

Yes the Phonak, Unitron, Sonova Advance (for Specsavers) and Sonova Kirkland TV connector are all basically the same thing as long as the platforms align for V2

I currently have Phonak Spheres and use the Phonak TV connector V2 and love it. My brother has KS10s and I talked him into getting the TV connector. We are unable to pair these together. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. He installed the Easy Line Remote app on his iPhone if that will help.

Did you follow the instructions as per YT, should be pretty straightforward.

Thanks for the info. Wasn't aware if they don't connect automatically you need to press the rocker switch to change programs. Never had this issue with my Spheres.

It's also possible that the TVC has not been enabled in the programming of his KS10's. It was on mine but you never know. Maybe it's default anyway, not sure.
Or that multiple aids can't be paired to the TVC at the same time.
I don't have to switch a program on mine. I turn on the TVC and attached to an audio output and suddenly magically there it is in my ears. But I understand why it might not.

Once you've paired your KS10 to the tv connector I think it's automatic connection from then on in, also the TV connecter should come up in the App once paired, so you can make some small adjustments there as well.

I read on the internet that the TV connector will not appear in the Easy Line Remote app as a TV Connector like it does in the MyPhonak app, but only as a streaming program (can't confirm it). I also read that the TVC can be connected to unlimited number of . I'll see if changing programs with the rocker switch works. I really appreciate all the feedback and help. It's nice to have a community that comes together to help each other with their hearing needs.

Maybe easyline is like that,I don't use Phonak anymore myself, but still no difference in how the connect and use the tv connector, also what TV? maybe also can connect directly if it has Bluetooth (probably not much point if he has already brought the streamer)

For my setup, the TVC does not show up on Easy Line when turned off (after already having been paired). Turn it on and it shows up and selects itself. So that means it's not a program to switch to as far as I understand it. But I guess it could be.

z10user2, thanks for the info. When you turn it on, in the Easy Line app, what does it show up as "TV Connector + mic" (which is what it is in the MyPhonak app)? In the MyPhonak app, if the TVC is on, it just turns on & does show up in the MyPhonak app, so it makes me wonder if the TVC option is enabled in the KS10's if that's even an option in Target. He did say that Costco didn't think it worthwhile to setup Easy Line in his iPhone because he could just switch programs with the rocker switch.

My brother's TV is older, so I doubt if it has Bluetooth, but it is worth checking.

Thanks everyone.

Edited

Yes, it says "TV Connector + mic".

The app doesn't need the installer to set up.

Using Bluetooth could introduce some lip-sync lag. The TVC has none.

Edit: I checked in Target and there are settings and options having to do with a TVC.

Edit some more: @AbramBaileyAuD : I wonder if it would be nice that if someone edits a post that it rises to the top of the latest list. New posts of course, but maybe edits too.

Hello, I'd like to know if the Sonova Easy Line TV Connector from Costco is compatible with the Audeo I-90R.

I'd appreciate any clarification on whether they're compatible, and if so, how they differ from the Phonak TV Connector.

These are the Infinios 90 R non-Sphere models. I’m supposed to receive the molds next week so I can try them out. In the meantime, I wanted to buy the TV transmitter.

I’ve read that the ones at Costco have a shorter range or lower transmission power than the more expensive Phonak models.
