Yes correct, you just use the built-in updater anytime you want, so need for a separate file install.

Thank @tenkan for the guidance. I have managed to download target software ver10, and subsequently upgraded to ver11.2 using the program auto upgrade feature.
I brought an Noahlink wireless 2 from Pinduoduo, US$135, much cheaper than eBay or Amazon. Was worried it to be a fake product, but it works well, basically plug and play, the target software detect the device and even advise me to upgrade the firmware from v3.15 to 3.25.
Have not got time to explore much yet, just managed to download the data from my i90, created 2 clients and sessions as advised by @tenkan .
Will explore more when got time, will sure be seeking advice from the forum for my project, and share my experience to all. Got to make my US$12k worth😅

Hi tenkan! I have my Noahlink 2 and I’m ready to join the party! Could I get access to the Phonak Target software so I can adjust my Virto I-90’s?

Hi, everyone. I’m thinking about programming my Phonak audeo i90-R and ordered the Noahlink wireless but realized I still need the target software. Would anyone be able point me in the right direction?
