It may be possible depending on the Oticon model you have. You need a Roger “receiver” that receives sound from the Roger and transmits the sound on to the hearing aids.
The three ways i know of (depending of model) are 1) a shoe for bte/ric hearing aids, 2) a tcoil loop transmitter (Phonak Mylink and there is another one.) Your hearing aids would have to have a tcoil, 3) a Phonak x03 receiver that plugs in to the intermediate Bluetooth device. I have no idea if Oticon has a device that accepts x03 receivers.
Of the three, number 2 offers the most universal coverage.

Can the shoe be removed when not in use? Or is it a permanent fixture on the Oticon aid?
Related to this, does Oticon have a hands-free, necklace free device to stream to the TV or use like a Roger mic device? I’m interested in the Oticon Intent, but if it doesn’t have accessories for streaming like Phonak, I’d probably not go there.

If you have Oticon then the EduMic is the way to go to use the Roger Equipment.
If you have Phonak Naida HAs, then the EduMic won’t work with them.

= Phonak Naida Paradise P90 UP? .
Not understanding this bit.
What do you have? Like I said, Phonak HAs won’t work with a EduMic despite the EduMic working with the Roger X.

I do not have Intents but rather Real (and earlier model) Oticon aids. However, the Oticon devices apparently operate with most bluetooth capable Oticon aids including the Intent.
Oticon has streamers similar in function to Phonak devices other than Roger. The obvious device for a TV is the TV Adapter 3 - it accepts audio over digital optical or line level RCA inputs and transmits a stereo signal directly to the aids. You could use a ConnectClip if your TV has bluetooth but there would be latency issues as compared to the TV Adapter 3. The ConnectClip is also a so the mono microphone could transmit TV sound if placed and oriented correctly near the TV speakers but that would also transmit any room noise so again not as good a solution as the TV Adapter. The EduMic can accept a stereo line level input and transmit directly to the aids but it is battery powered and quite a bit more expensive than the TV adapter. See the following Oticon URL: https://www.oticon.com/solutions/bluetooth-hearing-aids10 or navigate to the download area and find the technical data sheets or other documents like the instructions for use for the devices.
I’m not sure what you mean by hands-free. With the TV Adapter and my Real aids, when you pair the aids with the Adapter, a program is added to the aids that you can select with the buttons on the aids, with an Oticon Remote Control, or with the Oticon Companion app on a mobile phone. With an iPhone, a triple click brings up the menu that allows you to select the hearing aid program you wish to use independent of the app. As far as I know, the Oticon aids do not automatically switch to an in-range TV Adapter unlike the normal setup for the equivalent Phonak device.

You are correct. You have to select the TV Adaptor program.
