How to pair a Phonak Nathos Nova with a Phonak TVLink 2

I am trying to Bluetooth pair Phonak Nathos Nova hearing aids with a Phonak TVLink 2, The TVLink is normally used with the Compilot 2 but it appears to be a ‘normal’ Bluetooth device so should be usable with the Nathos Nova,

Or am I missing something?

Sadly Harry, they are no longer compatible. I had the Compilot system with TV link, and it worked well, and could stream calls as well. I used it extensively, and still got about 10 days from a pair of 13s.

The Nathos Nova (Bolero Marvel M70) isn’t as good on batteries, and will need the Phonak TV Connector. It’s well worth the money.

Really appreciate your reply, I’m still on the UK NHS aids which use the compilot and I’m happy with them. I tried the highest spec (price) Phonak aids for a month but they didn’t help me and I gave them back. Via Compilot 2 I connect all sorts of things and have never hit a brick wall in terms of flexibility. I found a real disadvantage with the range of operation with the expensive Phonak aids, The Compilot is external to the body so the BT connection is good. BT in hearing aids is screened by the body and much poorer. I am a radio amateur so no surprises there!

Yes you can connect directly to the tv link but when I tried it it was awful.
Suggest you look for a used TV connector.
If try again then make sure compilot is off and get close to the link.
