Phonak Marvel Audio Failure

3 days ago my Phonak aids gave uncommanded volume increases from the mid setting to 4 and after a moment or two revert to 0. The next day I got overmodulated crackling in the right aid. Today, at first all was well and then the audio completely dead.

The electronic controls OTOH are working normally. A commanded volume increase on the right ear increases the displayed volume in the App but only the left aid audio experiences an increased volume.

My Audi is on holiday until the 1st. Any suggestions before that?

Sounds like you have blown a receiver? If you swap the left receiver on to the right, this will confirm, either way… Cheers Kev :wink:

I have spare receivers, I swapped it out, and that worked!

Good audio now. Just have to see if the other symptoms do not recur.

Just have to persuade the Audi to let me have some spare Reds as I have two spare blues.

Just to say thank you very much as we are off on a cruise on 15th Oct and I could not expect the aid to be back from Phonak in time.
