No, Spheric is only on its kind. Restaurant is something based on traditional Speech in Noise. Music is similar to Calm but with less compression and additional features turned off (such as NoiseBlock etc.)

Only in the app. There are program based on manufacturers recommendations, but every user should asses it by him/herself, because it not always fit to everyone.

can they be removed? Issue I’m stumbling with, is without the phone, switching between, or even know which one I’m in. Its been kinda confusing. The definition for the button in Target seemed to imply could only switch Autosense > Spheric Program

By rocker switch you can switch between AutoSense OS and then additional program in the same order as in the Target (in th screen above Speech in 360). I’ve never removed them because I don’t know if they will be useful.

It is quite possible you switch AutoSense → Spheric manual —> back to Autosense.
In my Target it looks like: (the chain symbol means it is the same as linked subprogram in AutoSense OS):

What hearing aids are you wearing? I have the Starkey Edge 24, but my voice sounds tinny and I lose my connection often. I will try Phonak Infino Sphere tomorrow, but only for an hour. Maybe, I should see what the Phonak 70 model has to offer me in the way of hearing my voice clear and not tinny.

Bluetooth is indeed an issue on Starkey. Only one device can be connected at a time. Before connecting to another phone or tablet, I need to disconnect, or else I’d need to pair again.

Is anyone able to offer anyone advice on switching between open and ? I’d really like to have the option of using both depending on the situation, e.g. open domes in normal day-to-day situations and switch to closed domes for loud bars, restaurants etc so I can get more benefit out of the spheric programme. From what I’ve seen there’s a risk that the feedback management is only set up to one type of dome…is there any way around this?

only Phonak seems to be offering this tho, would be nice if all the other brands were to offer something similar.

Thanks yes I did look into that but one video review mentioned the “click” when it switches between open and closed is quite loud so not necessarily ideal for tinnitus (I have bad tinnitus). I was really just hoping there would be a way that I could just switch between domes when I want to.
If anyone has tried the activent receivers and can advise on how loud the mechanical click sound is that would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I have strong enough. Tinnitus that it was driving me a bit buggy in quiet. The noise during transition doesn’t bother me at all and informs me there was a change in program. (I get a noise even when programs switch from open program to open program, or closed program to closed program.). The cues me to look and see what is going on. Maybe streaming from Roger has switched to a TV Connector or streaming. But it is probably something of an individual thing. You may hate it and I kinda like it.
