Diy Jabra enhance pro 10 (HI,EP160-C,RIE) problems

Hi, fairly new to diy, but managed to successfully set up a 2nd hand pair of Phonak p50s, opn3s and my nice new (to me) intent 1s.

My “proper” audiologist setup pair are as above, Costco uk. Tenkan kindly sent me the smartfit software (thanks again).

The software can’t find the ….i know they are ok as went for my yearly review today and CC audiologist connected them. His screen looked like the smartfit 2 one that I’ve got, but had csfit 2 at the top. I’d like to sort out the music programme (he couldn’t) and want to check the he redid today……

You probably know all this, but you have to disconnect your hearing aids from your smartphone. The easiest way is to just turn your smartphone bluetooth off. Then immediately before you tell SmartFit to connect to your hearing aids, restart them by opening and closing the battery doors (if you have them) or by putting them into the charger and then take them out again. Or you can press the button on the top of each hearing aid for 5 seconds, wait until they have turned off and then turn them on again by pressing the button on top of each for 5 seconds. Then immediately tell SmartFit to connect.

Thanks again…I really don’t understand why they won’t connect. The lights come on on the noahlink, like when I connect to my other pairs but the software doesn’t’ t find them. At 1st I thought it was like my nhs Oticon engage , which wouldn’t appear until I entered a code in genie…but from the forum thy don’t appear to be locked…I’ll keep playing…thanks again…

So what happens when you follow the instructions for setting them in pairing mode, do you get the green led flashing from Noahlink wireless while it’s looking to connect to your , just remember you only get a couple of minutes in pairing mode, you can’t have the HAs connected to ANY Bluetooth devices, honestly it shouldn’t be too hard, reboot your PC as well and start from scratch, see how you go.

Many thanks both…finally got the to connect. When installed as uk, where I live it won’t pick them. With a re-install as USA, now recognises the HAs (I assume as bought by CC in the USA :grinning:), thanks again, Ian.

Ha the old country dependant mode😉 but great your up and running, now the fun begins.
