I have found that the on the 9050’s get clogged very easily. Several times I have had the same issue and changed the wax filter and all was well again.

I am trialling these hearing aids at the moment and this is a huge issue for me too. One of other of the ears is almost always disconnected. When both are working there is a delay between them that ends up sounding like an echo, and sometimes both will stop working mid-stream. They are not “disconnected” from bluetooth, but sound isn’t streaming to them. Alongside the terrible sound quality and low volume of the streamed audio this makes the feature unusable. It would be tolerable except that if the app is installed and in use you have no choice - you have to use the streaming direct to the hearing aids (I’ve seen no way to turn it off) - I’ve missed calls and lost chunks of podcasts - all a very poor experience. Phone is Samsung Galaxy S10.

Bluetooth has some issues.
One the frequency is used by a multitude of other devices, including WiFi.
Two, your head can block the signal.
It works best where the signal can bounce off walls or the inside of a car to get to both ears. It has more issues when it has to compete with other devices using the same frequency.
A phone with a better antenna might help; a different hearing aid possibly; even a belt pouch that keeps the phone in front of you.
If you can borrow a higher end phone for a couple of hours to see if the eliminates the problem, that’s what I would try.

The pairing is not an issue - they are paired and the phone claims they are connected. The streaming audio simply drops from one or other or both ears.

I have a pixel 8 and find the right hearing aid will get out of sync with the left one and cause an echo. This is sporadic.

I was given a work around by Philips - put phone in Airplane mode for 30 seconds minimum. It fixed my issues!

Knowen issue by Philips and Costco. One or both ha disconnect with confused Bluetooth connection. Android and ha 1.3 firmware. The process to get reconnected is a pain in the butt especially when it continues to happen multiple times. This problem is occurring with Oticon ha both made by same company. I returning to Costco for refund. Might try again if the issue is resolved. Actually have been wearing Elehear Beyond Pro . I am truly impressed and may just stick with them. Check out the reviews

I haven’t had that issue with my 9050 hearing aids and my Google Pixel 10.
The only issues I am experiencing is the distortion in the right hearing aid when using and the disconnection issues when using Auracast.
The disconnection issues don’t seem to be an issue with my older Pixel 6a. So it seems like the app and Google are fighting each other for control.
If I’m not using Auracast, everything works great.
I’m going to see what Phillip’s support has to say about the distortion issue.

Change your phone from LE Bluetooth to Asha. Problem solved. Been there done that. uses the same low energy as LE but is programmed for hearing aids.
