The sound volume into my Stretta (nhs) hearing aids instantly diminishes when my iPhone it not close to me… if it’s a meter away the volume is significant lower…. Is this normal… can I change the settings to stop this happening? Thanks.
OK, I’m no techie, and certainly don’t know of the Stretta aids … but I can tell you, I’d consider that ABNORMAL and unacceptable! I have Phonak Lumity Life aids paired + connected to an Android phone. I can have that phone in another room, on another floor, out in the CAR when I’m in the house, and stil get amazing clarity and stability in volume. If a call comes in, the caller never complains about not hearing me either.
Not sure if this is an Apple issue, a hearing aid issue, a connectivity issue or some multi-factorial combination of things, but I’d sure want an answer. I don’t think it’s an issue with the settings, but perhaps some iPhone users can chime in here? GOOD LUCK trouble-shooting this.
My iPhone 13 has been continuously connected to my Jabra Enhanced Pro 20 hearing aids for more than six weeks via Bluetooth. Are your aids compatible? MFi is Apple’s software designed to easily connect and control hearing aids. I am not familiar with that brand of hearing aids.
