Set your ’s to manual following the instructions I gave you. Just tell your i90s you have a TV connector. It doesn’t change any settings.

The manual option doesn’t stop a device from streaming TV to your HA’s. It just doesn’t turn on the sound until you tell it to. The HA’s set to manual may control the on/off of the TV streaming also.

It’s worth a try.

Easy option.

If you have a pair of KS HA’s previously purchased from Costco, then they’ll sell you the TV connector for $100.

If you didn’t buy any HA’s from Costco, then you can pick up a used TV connector for less than a $100 on eBay. I bought two used ones for less than $50 each, and they worked ok. Seems like a small price to get rid of the irritation you have to put up with.

The TV connector is a simple solution.

However, you said when your TV stream comes on, you see it in the app. If it’s named TV connector, then your think the stream is coming from the TV connector. Your HAs really don’t care where the Bluetooth stream is coming from; they’re going to connect to it if they are paired with it.

Another simple test is the double tap. If you have double tap set to pause the TV or media streaming, and a double tap pauses the stream from your TV, then your HAs are in complete control of that stream also, and setting up the TV connector to manual should work.

The Target software doesn’t have a direct TV streaming option that allows you to set the manual control. To get around the software limitation, just pick the TV connector as an accessory and program the control options.

If it works the way I think it will, then you can save money and not buy the TV connector.

Yep, that’s what I said. You have to own KS10s or 9s to buy a TV connector or a partner mic.

Costco sells TV connectors and partner mics with Sennheiser also, but he doesn’t have Sennheisers.

On your behalf, I just phoned our Bellingham, WA Costco Hearing Center and, luckily, it was my excellent h a fitter who answered the call. You didn’t specify what accessories nor for which brand of hearing aids you need to buy so I just gave an example, i. e. Resound hearing aids bought elsewhere needing a little mike that Costco might be selling for the Jabra E P 30s.

Suggestion: Go to your own local Costco store Hearing Center and ask them, in person. I can tell you that most of the Centers usually stock the accessories for the specific brands they sell. If I went to a nearby hearing center that sells Resound Enzo I A hearing aids, and I wanted to buy a little multi-mike for my Jabra E P Max, would that Resound little multi-mike actually pair and synch with my Jabra hearing aids? They’re made by the same GN company. First, contact the company that makes your hearing aids and ask them first then check compatibility and their own retail prices. For you, I feel very saddened by the horrible experience you had at your Costco. That woman wouldn’t have gotten past me with such nasty behavior. I wouldn’t have wasted any time at all reporting her to the Costco Corporate office located in Bellevue/Issaquah, Washington PHONE: 1-425-427-7983 Ask for General Manager of Costco Hearing Centers. I have been a Costco hearing center customer for over 21 years. In that time, I buy new hearing aids every 3 years because of how fast the technology changes while my hearing loss has rapidly decreased. Good luck.
