A question about custom molds

I have been wearing hearing aids for about 23 years and am now using phonak spheres 90 and I have power domes. My question is, looking at my , would I be better off using custom molds or sticking with the power domes. With the power domes I put a cut in them so I don’t have so much occlusion.

I’d go with custom molds. No guarantee that you’ll like them better but there’s certainly potential.

I have been wear aids for 20 years. I have always worn custom in the ear aids and for the last 7 years custom ear molds. I tried domes and found them useless for my hearing loss. I have the Spheres with acrylic full skeleton custom ear molds and they are very comfortable. I would say looking at your hearing loss that you would benefit from custom ear molds.

I’ve been wearing for twenty years. Custom molds for about ten years. Try this test: with your domes in, plug your ears with your fingertips. Does the quality of the sound improve? Get the molds. Mine are vented. No occlusion and no feedback.

Custom molds get my vote also. I’m on my second set of titanium molds and I love them.
