A question about KS9 hearing aids

Are you referring to an aid purchased from Costco. If so, these are RIE (receiver in the ear) models with the receiver in the ear and connected to the hearing aid with a wire (as opposed to behind the ear models which have a tube running from the aid to the earpiece. The receiver and wire can be removed from the hearing aid by using a small tool, like that used to insert a sim card in a phone or a straightened paperclip. Use the paperclip to push the restraining pin a little way in and the wire can be removed. I am not sure we are on the same planet here. Sorry if I have misread the question.

As mentioned your KS9 aids are pretty much identical to the Phonak Marvel Audio aids. My wife has the KS9 aids now and still loves them.
These aids are RIC receiver in the canal type aids.
If you look closely at the speaker end that goes on your ear canal there will be letters and numbers on them.
Get a magnifying glass if you need to.
Get that information and go to Amazon or ebay and find receivers exactly like the ones you have for M or Marvel Audio aids. A pair should cost you about $40-$50.
As mention a paperclip will assist you to replace that receiver.

Another option would be to visit your Costco. They typically will replace them on the spot for free.

As Raylock1 mentioned, KS9 is a RIC (receiver in Canal) hearing aid and uses receivers with a wire, not a tube. Receivers are not generic but made for a particular brand of hearing aids and often specific to a model or models. If you got the aids from Costco, I’d go there. It will be a lot simpler. If you do need to install the receiver yourself, raylock1’s instructions were accurate. If you’re doing online research, the KS9 is for practical purposes the same as the Phonak Marvel and would use the same receivers. When ordering receivers you need to know the power (S, M, P) and length of wire (0,1,2 or 3)
