Good morning to all and a happy new year. I am about to purchase my next set of hearing aids. My hearing loss is considered severe with an 80 DB loss total with my left ear being slightly better, I will try to get my audio-gram to post. I am considering one of two options and would love any thoughts you have. my options are; either Widex Allure or Phonak Infinio Sphere. I am leaning more toward the Spheres for a few reasons. While I am managing well with my Widex Moment 440’s, I often struggle in loud environments or where I need to pay attention to several things at once. I also struggle in meetings with my clients understanding soft speech. I am reading that the Phonak excel in both of these area’s is that the case? For those using the Widex Allure, what exactly is pure sound? They said the Moments can do this as well but I am not quite sure what that means, is it just clever word play? Lastly, how are you finding the battery life to be, are you ever running out of a charge before the day ends? I ask because i do a lot of streaming and I have read the Phonak have longer battery life. Any opinions you have are greatly appreciated, be as colorful as you like. Thanks and God Bless.
