I had issues with making any normal domes work in my right ear (left ear is fine, just the miniTube and a dome sit in the ear perfectly without silly clips). The right ear must have a different shape, and I never got a dome to stay in place reliably, neither with nor without clips. @Neville recommended open GripTips for that ear, and they do stay in much better. The anatomical/mechanical side of the coupling is great now. Unfortunately, the acoustic fit is quite a bit worse now. Single vented domes worked best for me acoustically, and the open/vented GripTip has a huge opening and I always have a lot of high frequency noise now, hard to describe, but my hearing has gone down quite a bit through this. Any clue what I can do to adjust this? Is a closed GripTip for my right ear an option with my ?
