@Neville told me about a little trick you can do with normal hearing aids that is similar to a bicross hearing system.

If those moment aids have directional mics you can set them to always be in a left or right in noise setting. Like in a vehicle. Do you know if your aids have a directional program that does this? Might worth a try.

If I have this wrong hopefully Neville will correct me on this. It’s been 7-8 years ago I was told this.

You can have the audiologist set up an acoustic phone program if you’re wearing a brand that does ear to ear streaming for land line phones. You set the bad side to the streaming side. It’s not as good as a CROS but can be supportive in certain situations if you prefer amplification on both ears (which is important is you might ever want a CI).
