Aid shuts down after replacing new battery

I have a Phonak Lumity that was working fine up until a couple days ago. Aid is four years old. Now when I replace with a new battery aid stays on for a couple hours to say 24 hours then shuts down. Timeline varies. Also there is no warning chime when aid shuts off, like you receive when battery level is low. I've tried several new 675 batteries and each time aid come alive but only operates for a short period of time. Any suggestion which aid internal part might be failing that needs to be replaced?

I've tried other battery packets and all are stamped - expire 2028 and beyond. What's also odd my Lumity aid could go 10 day before battery replacement. But now I've had to replace after three days of use, then new battery two days of use, then new battery after two hours of use. Just wonder what could make a aid go dead on a irregular basis, then restart with new battery to go dead again in short order.

Moisture more than likely. Had that problem with my old Marvels before my Lumity Naida UP.

Send them back to Phonak, they should have a fixed price your audiologist can quote.
