Allergic reaction to hearing aids

I own and wear Oticon More 1 . I have devoped some sort of irritating bumps on my skull and ear. I had an appointment last week and he committed that it looked like i was allergic to whatever the aids were made of. Thinking about coating the surface of the aids with clear nail polish. Any suggestions or similar problems like this?

One suggestion might be to look into ear gear. They have little gloves, if you will, for the aids. That might help. If you do use nail polish, be very careful around the microphones. The holes are pretty small.
