Amplifon R5 on R hearing aid

Hello

I have a pair of Amplifon hearing aids R5 on R .

The left hearing aid has been back to the shop twice now as it wont connect to the App on my android phone it finds the right hearing aid no problem but not the left,

does the R5 on R on the aid refer to the right aid or is that the name of the aid i was expecting to see R5 on5 L on the left aid.

when i try to the app it finds the right aid ok but not the left.

Any ideas?

I suspect that your Amplifon branch haven’t assigned your left aid as a left aid paired with the right aid. If it went back to Resound, they likely just replaced it with a new one (because that’s what they do). If Amplifon just put your prescription into it when they got it back from Resound, then they probably haven’t set the new L and the R up to work together properly. In any case you need to go back to Amplifon because the software to do it yourself isn’t available.
