There is another option. Live with an audiologist who brings their equipment home. Thats it, only 2 options for a musician.

Well, I guess there is a 3rd option, learn to live with and accept the limitations of hearing aids and inadequate programming.

No, another option is to find a provider who understands the needs of musicians and will make a dedicated program for you on your hearing aids. That’s what I’ve done. I bring my guitar in with me to my provider. that’s a hell of lot easier than finding and marrying an audi who can bring her equipment home with her…which in any case isn’t possible. don’t make this seem far more complex than it really is, please.
