I’ve noticed some of these new aids coming out () that take a size 13 or larger battery are really easy to put aid battery in backwards. In the old days a battery door would not close if battery was inserted incorrectly. But now some new aids will close with battery reversed. If that should happen for a few seconds (since aid will not come on) does it in any way damage hearing aid? I’m assuming once someone figures out the mistake and correctly sets battery the aid should work just fine, but was wondering if battery connection could be damaged if battery was reversed when inserted.
