Hi all,

I have added support for MacOS, with the assistance of AI. More information can be found on the Github page here3, along with instructions on how to install it.

If you have a Mac which isn't new enough to use Apple's program (which uses ), this could be an option for you.

Context

I have Oticon Real 1s, and a Macbook Air M1 A2337 (2020 model). I was sad about not being able to connect my hearing aids to my computer, and enlisted the help of Claude Code. I was able to get it working in an evening!

it seems likely to work on newer Intel-based Macs, but I don't have one to check

I have been trying to find a workaround to listen to zoom chat from my MacBook Air m1 to ambio smart.

I suspect it won’t improve listening to the MacBook speakers, as compressed zoom audio will be further compressed by .

I am going to adapt a headphone set to , as when I improve zoom compression, it will be transmitted without audio delay and without interference from the headphone drivers. Conevans gave me the idea.
