I will be fit for a pair of for the first time ever. I have worn one before, on and off for almost 20 years, but with long stretches, sometimes years, of not using it. I tried a pair of but returned them and ordered the RICs. I am so excited but also nervous.
My parents are almost 80 and don’t need hearing aids. I am 53 and I do. They might think I don’t need them either, because when I visit them and talk with them, I don’t have trouble in that environment. I’m hoping they will be “cool” about it. I shouldn’t care so much what they think, but I do.. I know I need to hear better, especially at work, and one aid is not enough to feel balanced.
