But why? Getting a audiogram done is pretty cheap and only really needed every few years, you do have In-situ audiometry available in the software as well, and yes you can get them calibrated by any place that offers this,you don’t need any account to do that.

thank you Tenkan!! I like the idea of doing my own audiograms, and they always result in the best self-fitting compared to AGs done by others. Right now I have full access to an audiometer, but if things ever changed, I’d like to know that I have the option of doing this, and having one myself, and am not prevented from some red-tape stipluation that if don’t have a practitioners account they won’t calibrate it, because it’s personally owned rather than audiologist or HCP/HIS practice owned. I forgot to mention - I wear beltone/resound, so the in situ is very different - they want occluding domes for in situ, so it’s not going to translate like the other brands where it’s the same domes that are in your rars. That actually makes a lot of sense to me for fittings. maybe I should just wear the same domes and try it.
