Looking for recommendations for a good (best?) bone conduction hearing aid with Bluetooth. Mearsun Z0112 keeps popping in in my searches: is that any good? How about the ones on Amazon, such as B0HHMJ1XXH and B0G6SKXMXF? Also, not sure if the Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 can be used as a hearing aid.
1.- Their webpage says that they are for moderatel severe loss but in their FAQs they say it is only for mild to moderate loss (which is what the mandates).
2.- Their webpage says : 'Z01 provides hearing assistance without requiring a phone, with on-device controls for volume and listening modes'. This means no hearing tests, no adjustments per frequency. This is a just a sound amplifier .
3.- Their webpage says. "Dual & 32-Channel Noise Reduction: Helps reduce background noise and improve speech clarity." : This is physically impossible because the ear is 100% open. They confirm this in another part of their web page "Mearsun Z01 is an open-ear bone conduction hearing aid".
Do you want an amplifier that is not optimal for high frequency sounds (a limitation of bone conduction hearing devices) and from a company that contradicts itself multiple times on their main web page?
