I have Phonak Paradise P90s and I use the bluetooth connectivity a lot. That and a TV connector have made a huge difference to my life.
Am I right in thinking that there is a limit of 2 devices you can pair? I have a phone, a tablet and a desktop computer and it seems I have to disconnect one to connect another. Is this a bluetooth limit or the ?

The Paradise can pair with 8 devices but remain connected to only 2 via Bluetooth. The TV connector uses a proprietary non bluettooth system (but uses approximately same frequency) so is not counted in those numbers. This is a hearing aid limitation not inherent in bluettooth. Having to disconnect one of your 3 devices makes sense with the 2 device connection limit.

My understanding is that you can be paired up to 8 different devices.
However, you can only be connected to 2 different devices at once.
Think of being paired as having the potential to be connected.
An example,
At work my laptop, phone and iPad are all paired, but I have to choose to disable the Bluetooth on my ipad so as to have my computer and phone connected.

Thanks, that all sounds logical. Unfortunately it seems that not only do I need to disconnect one device but I also need to restart my before they will connect to the new device.

I used to think that with my , but eventually tracked it down to some other Bluetooth device that I had previously paired grabbing the connection.
In the end I reduced the paired devices down to just my car, laptop, ipad and phone. Just a thought.

Programs you use on your iPhone stay open in the background. Swipe up slowly to mid-screen and you will see all those programs. Swipe up each one to delete it. Grabbing connections should then be easier.

@e4andy simply try to do one time volume up or down on your hearing aid buttons to re-connect. Alternatively you must go to your Phones Bluetooth settings and manually connect.
A reboot of the HDs is not needed for that. Exact behavior really depends on your phone brand, but usually above should work. Reason after some time it does not reconnect: saving power. Always scanning the environment in absence of the second device costs energy, both the phone and the HD.
