There is a separate Widex app called Zen Tinnitus that is free to download to smartphones.
I use this app to play back distracting musical sounds via Bluetooth into my hearing aids.
PS. Your hearing aids don’t need to be Widex; they just need to be able to have music streamed to them from apps on your cellphone.

But HA is not a cure for tinnitus.
They can be, for some people. My tinnitus is no longer noticeable since I started wearing aids. But it wasn’t intolerable to begin with.

Dr Ted Venema has produced a number of videos. I have learned a lot from them! I have great respect for him based on the videos I have seen.
@raylock1 thanks for posting the link here.

I got new hearing aids about 1-1/2 years ago. I cursed them for a long time until i parted ways with the audiologist. He had never set them up well, and that’s why I couldn’t hear.
My lesson was that I should have realized earlier that I needed to advocate for myself better.

Many of us with tinnitus find that just wearing makes the tinnitus sensation go away much of the time. Not a cure and not using masking programs. Sure, it breaks through from time to time. And now while I’m thinking about it. But HAs have really been a blessing.

I also like the zen program. I like “Zen Calm” in particular. Random chimes and fire place sounds.

Sitting here at work with hearing aids out because I forgot to charge them last night…it’s so quiet! my really are a blessing. Now that I’m on the good path and they are being setup properly.
Tinnitus is interesting. I have it all the time in both ears. It’s one of several stress meters. When I notice tinnitus and it bothers me I take a stress break.
After my heart procedure I was involved in a “heart recovery program” for 6 months at the hospital.Lots of talk about reducing stress. And I carry nitro glycerin. During that recovery program I had to spray nitro often with stress. Now it’s very seldom.
