Hi All,
I have been using S receivers with small open domes, because my hearing loss is in the high frequency range and only moderate. I have no problem with feedback. I listen to streaming a lot. In fact, that becomes a problem, because my wife asks something, and I’m listening to my podcast or music, and don’t always catch what she said. I did get an from the audiologist, but $8K for hearing aids was not for me, so I purchased a Noahlink, and watched some videos on using the Phonak Target software from Phonak Continuing Education on Audiology Online7 and watching lots of Dr. Cliff, AUD1 videos on youtube. I bought my on eBay, and they were much much less expensive. The HA have been working really well. I recently upgraded from M70-R to P90-R and am now wondering about ActiveVent (a bit expensive and iffy, because I’m not sure I can get them to fit my ear canals) or to continue with the open dome S basic receivers I’m using presently. I’m also considering trying , because I would like better-sounding streaming, and trying them is only about $10.
Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks,
Rob
