Cochlear N7 upgrade?

Has anyone upgraded from a (Cochkear) N7 to an N8? I’m eligible, but the descriptions I’ve read look like the N8 offers very modest changes. Your thoughts?

@ssa and @Deaf_piper have upgraded that I remember. Forgetting some for sure.

I have read the N8 has and a new SCAN 2 that’s better than the standard SCAN.

My upgrade is coming soon but will probably get the new KS3 processors coming out soon.

@user699 im and I upgraded from N7 to N8 January 2022. I’m not at all into the technical side of the N8, , so I can’t pass any comments on that of other tech information either etc. I’m not even sure if it is active or not as yet. But the automatic FF scan I do like a lot, though the differences here are very subtle.

It is smaller than the N7 and a better fit as well.

Hopefully or other N8 users will come and give you more information than I can.

Did you ever do the N8 upgrade?

I haven’t upgraded yet. Not sure I need to to just yet. All my processors are working fine.
