Yep. Already some weeks in without tramadol and other toxics (like smoking here and there), back on Betahistine and Vinpocentine and I noticed my hearing getting better day by day. Is hard to gestionate the back pain. I’m on gabapentin but I used that also before.
I started to have small stabbings like in the right ear (but in a good way). Like is not anymore numb. Sure, those are made with Mimi app and we all know is a little bit optimistc compared to the real stuff but is not much off. I use supported headphones by the app, not generic ones. I noticed a sudden pac.. pac like in my right ear and I noticed some improvement. The first image is with the recovery only in one day, and the other one is how loss it was just yesterday morning. Hope it will recover some more!
Also, the diplacusis disharmonica reduced a lot in the affected frequencies and this happened for the first time in so much time! The secret? Cut Tramadol for good and smoking crap. I hope there is no permanent damage in there and with months/years with constant support and treatment my ear will bounce back! If you guys in here are “doing” painkillers of any kind or other ototoxic medication keep it in mind. They can affect hearing. This was the missing piece puzzle from my quest. Except the back pain, I never felt better! I wish you the best!
