I have one, it’s great! Also use it on flights to connect movies to . If you connect to TV from headphone jack then TV remote will adjust volume.

Where do I go now?
Fitter was unable to fix occlusion with KS9.0 with custom molds and could offer no solution except to go to Resound .
She did not have a sample of the ones for profound loss and didn’t seem to know much about what they would look like.
I really believe that something could have been done with the 9.0s but she has shipped them back now.
I really don’t want to order more expensive new ones sight unseen but unless I go with a much more expensive audiologist I don’t see that I have a choice. Costco in Baton Rouge only has one fitter.
Any suggestions that might help me would be appreciated.

Your would help. If cost is a priority, go to a New Orleans or Lafeyette Costco and try the KS9s again. Let them know what happened and either try something like a double dome or have them make molds with an adjustable vent. Ideally it won’t take too many visits to get a reasonable fit and you can handle all routine maintenance at your local Costco.

Without seeing your , I don’t know what you are up against. I tried custom molds with my KS8’s and just could not tolerate them. It wasn’t because of occlusion, it was because they make noise when I was eating. I have found relief by going back to the non vented click sleeves available for the Rexton/Signia aids. Again guessing because I don’t know what your loss is, but you could try the Rexton Adore Li aids at Costco. They will accept the non vented click sleeves. Rexton has an Own Voice Processing feature that deals with the impact of closed fitting on the sound of your own voice. Could work for you.

I have one,
One what? The Phonak TV Connector or the Foxnovo Bluetooth TX/RX with Toslink connection?

This constant chiming in my KS9s in my ears the entire time my 2nd TV Connector is connected to my laptop is driving me crazy, and I can’t stop it! It seems ridiculous that this is not a user-controlled function and that I will have to take it back to Costco Hearing to get it somehow adjusted to stop this! I bought this 2nd one specifically for my laptop and now it is unusable for that purpose.
Who would even want an “optional setting” that makes the Connector constantly chime non-stop in the user’s ears?
(For someone who may not have been following this portion of the thread, I purchased this 2nd unit specifically for my laptop because using its built-in Bluetooth to send to my KS9s was burning through hearing aid batteries almost daily!)

What is the name of the app to regulate your hearing aid on your cell phone for KS9.
I had it one there, but accidently I deleted some apps by mistake.

Something wrong there, as you know I have three of them and do not get this constant dinging, one to my laptop, and tv’s for the other two. The only thing I can think of is an out of range problem were it drops and then is back and dings again.

Thank you,
Do you know what app I would need to use so I could hear the name announced in the without looking at my phone?

Google is your friend, I’m using a selection from the phone (S8) itself, but believe there are apps that are better in the Play Store.

Thanks for your reply. My laptop is always either on an easel adjacent to my chair, or literally on my lap while sitting on that chair, and the new 2nd Connector is attached to the easel with that little velcro square that came in the box, so in all cases the distance between this Connector and my KS9-populated ears only ranges from a couple inches to maybe a foot and a half at most.
It started out working fine the first day out of its sealed box and then things gradually went haywire over the next few days.
It’s really strange and disappointing, but in the greater scheme of things it’s not a crisis, as I am in all other respects happy to have “graduated” from my KS5s to these KS9s.

Does anyone know if Costco sells the physical remote for the KS9’s? Not the app on the smartphone, but the physical remote. I have conflicting information, some saying yes some saying no. Anyone know?

I’ve been looking at the different apps and trying them, so far I haven’t found one that is actually saying the name of the caller in the . They will say it on the cell phone.
I’m looking for one that says it into the HA through the bluetooth. I hear the phone ring in the HA, but I have to look at the phone to see who is calling.

If you can’t find away, what about setting different ringer-tones to certain people?
I use the Roger Pen which doesn’t announce calls either but I can figure out who is calling by setting different ringer-tones.
(It works well for me because I only expect calls from certain people and not anyone.)

I asked the Costco audiologist the same question just yesterday, and she had been speaking with the Phonak rep the week before, and seems there is a likelihood that some KS9 accessories could be available soon…fingers crossed a physical remote might be included. If I decide to buy a Noahlink, I may well buy the Marvel remote control you linked to, and see if it’s possible to connect it to the KS9 in Target. I’m 24 hrs in with my KS9s, and I miss the physical remote already. I’ll post my experience as soon as I have tested out a few more situations.
