Demo Signia device hack with connexx?

Hello community,

At the moment, I have a Signia device in my possession, specifically the Signia Pure IX C&G, although it does have the reseller’s brand name on it. If you need more details, I’d be happy to provide them!

I have a question: is it possible for me to hack this device and keep it for myself? I’m curious if I could connect it with Noahlink Wireless 2 and adjust the settings to make it mine permanently.

The cost is quite steep $1,000 from my insurance and $2,700 out of pocket.

However, if I were to “lose” it, I would only need to pay a $300 penalty fee.

Yes so long as it’s not some odd ball rebranded version of the Signia IX you’ll be able to use Connexx and Noahlink wireless and do projects.

I believe you mentioned in an old thread that TruHearing can use the standard Connexx without any additional “hacks.” Is that correct? I recently came across some super cheap non-rechargeable TruHearing devices (equivalent to the 5AX) on eBay.

Yeah I’ve not heard of them ViO E456 LI, so its hard to say if there’s any lock/code or anything that could possibly stop you from programming them, trial and error I guess!

You’ll also need the hardware interface as well, let us know if you’re successful getting connected to them.

UPDATE:

Sorry to disappoint, but Demo Signia devices are somehow locked, either in firmware, software or both.

As for normal Signia devices, they are detectable (at least one C&G I put near the Noahlink Wireless from ebay)

It’s not because of Signia tho, it’s because your using the rebranded ViO demo version right? That would mean both ViO demo and standard ViO version would be locked.

to my understanding yes… I have been trying to use in order to get past the door, but they have encryption, keys, databases… idk how possible it is
