I have a pair of Oticon Chili (11 years… can’t afford new ones currently); I also have a DAI cord (direct Audio Input).
The cords I have now I bought years ago (from one of the UK sites…the VAT charges hiked it up good).
There were two types- one had a blue stereo input plug the other black. I found out that the blue one works on every other brand of hearing aids in the world…except Oticon. The black cord works with Oticon (thankfully).
As of now the blue plug one is sitting in a drawer (it kinda works with Oticon but not well and only monaural). The black one has finally bit the dust as the wires at the end are fraying so it cuts in and out a lot.
To my question- where can I buy one (or 2) of these? There are very few far and between vendors/sellers that sell them. Connevans is the place I purchased the most recent ones but they’re based in the UK- while I would consider it, shipping time is long then there’s tax AND the VAT deal.
So where else can I find them that are reputable/good. I’d consider Amazon but kind of on a “break” from there unless I really have to. Prices overall I’m not thrilled with either- the ones in the US are between 50-65 dollars.
Thank you!
Ducky
