TL;DR: Phone (Galaxy S25 Ultra) streams perfectly to my ReSound Nexia 9 via the ReSound app. Tablet (Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra) currently relays audio through the phone and cuts out. Looking for tips to get direct tablet → Nexia streaming and any proven USB-C transmitters that play nicely with Nexia if the app/OS path isn’t stable yet.
My setup
- Hearing aids: ReSound Nexia 9
- Apps: ReSound Smart Hearing / Smart 3D on phone (and available for tablet)
- Phone: Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra
- Tablet: Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra (16 GB / 1 TB)
- Accessories I use:
• ReSound TV+ Stream → Samsung TV (home)
• ReSound TV Streamer 2 → laptop 3.5 mm out (work)
• FooGoo device → desktop (home)
• ReSound Phone Clip+
What works well
- Phone → Nexia: rock solid via ReSound app (calls, media).
- My TV/work setups above all work great.
What’s not working well
- Tablet → (relay via phone) → Nexia: frequent cut-outs. I’d like direct tablet → Nexia (/Auracast) without involving the phone.
Questions for the community
- Direct tablet streaming: On the Tab S11 Ultra, what exact steps/settings got you direct streaming to Nexia 9 (no relay)?
- Any One UI/Auracast “Listen” menu tips or Quick Panel tiles I should enable?
- Does ReSound Smart 3D on the tablet reliably discover/join Auracast for you?
- Stability tweaks: Any must-do settings to reduce drop-outs? (e.g., disable battery optimization for ReSound app, keep Bluetooth scanning/location on, etc.)
- Transmitters: If direct tablet streaming is flaky, which USB-C Auracast transmitter have you personally used with ReSound Nexia that works well? (I’m considering hearing-aid-specific dongles; open to proven models.)
- Phone Clip+ vs LE
