Do you use the Kirkland/Rexton XPhone or Signia TwinPhone feature?

Overall it certain does increase audibility,

That’s what you are after. How often will you take calls like that and how long are the calls?

I use the Phonak version of that every time I have to talk on a “strange” phone. It works. It does make the mic hotter so it is easier to get the sound. You dont have to place it perfectly over the phone speaker.

The fitter will have to set it up for automatic use. Putting it on a manual program is a separate thing.

Call length varies. I can call out on my iPhone using our house VOIP service, so that is my preference when calling out. However, I have to take incoming calls with our in house land line wireless phones.

It is possible that the fitter did not set it up for use with the magnet. I somehow got the impression all one has to do is enable the XPhone program. That was done. I looked everywhere I could think of in the Connexx software and did not see a place to turn on the magnet initiation… I will ask at the next visit.
