When I arrived for my appointment to be fitted with demo Oticon Intent 1’s, the audi already had them programmed. She also quickly prepped a pair of Intent 3’s for tryout (I settled on the 1’s). All this was based on a hearing test that she had administered a few months prior. I think she did a during that test, also. So, I’m guessing the Otosuite hearing test software that audiologists use also generates a Noah file that can be imported into Genie 2, correct? Therefore, does that mean, if my audi was agreeable, she could supply me with that file after a hearing test and I could import it to program my Intent 1’s? I would already have Genie 2 and Noah Wireless.
Just thinking ahead since I did not buy my Intents from that audi. I have not broached this subject with her yet (I have no idea how she would respond to a subject like that!), so I might do that later this year when I go in for another hearing test (covered by Medicaid annually).
