I have Starkey Edge and I’m travelling on United Airlines. Has anyone had experience with the Bluetooth transmitters while flying? I know it must be Bluetooth LE 5.2 or higher.

You may want to try the FlooGoo FMA121. Make sure to turn off Hearing Aid Mic in the My Starkey app to minimize engine noise on the airplane.
The Streaming Volume control adjusts the audio level from the transmitter. When using the FMA121, you can also adjust the audio level of the 3.5 mm input on the source device.

I used an August MR270 with my Bluetooth Bose headphones for many years when traveling for business. Any Bluetooth version that is compatible with your hearing aids is acceptable. Have your power adapter handy if you need to re-charge, many airlines provide power at the seats.
