I am just wondering if there will be any after market hearing aid battery rechargers especially for custom hearing aids. The reason I bring this up is that it seems that it would be difficult for a person to have a rechargeable hearing aid recased/reshelled if needed from a third party repair service. Would you have to send it back to the manufacturer so it is repaired to fit on the charger. For example I have Resound Custom rechargeable hearing aids. The charger has inserts that conform to the shell portion of the hearing aid. If I wanted to get it reshelled down the road for any reason I would have to go back to the manufacturer to get it repaired, and Resound makes new charger insert for …repair costing much more than a third party repair service. This is one drawback of rechargeable hearing aids.
