Here’s a interesting article I came by, it’s a survey about hearing aid repair and maintenance problems from audiology clinic’s, the thing that caught my eye was the claim that “nearly half of hearing aids dispensed are sent in for repair multiple times while under warranty!”

Reading that article just proves how self programming hearing aids is such a benefit for those paying out of pocket.
It also shows how important it is to dry and clean your aids regularly.

Drying and cleaning is not high on our (my wife and I’s) To-Do list;
But yes, others do seem to need daily drying and cleaning.
