Hi, I currently own a Laperre Powered hearing aid (right only) The Pro P931 - it’s directly comparable with the Phonak Audéo V70- is told.
I tried The Newest infinio sphere, sound pretty good but far from the quality of my current. Wich is strange. There are more options but eve when Turing everything off the sounds is not as good and useable as my older device. Since I also need one left no in need to upgrade.
So i tested the Phonak 2 top models, Widex Moment sheer and Allure, Oticon intent, Signia and even a Chinese brand voor only 100 euro. The crazy thing is that from all the new testers the cheap Chinese brand come up the best for daily use. None of the tested devices are even remote usable for live music situations. Even turned down. But my old one is. Thats crazy. Willing tot pay €4000 for a set, i can’t find anything usable.
I also have an even older hearing aid from my mum (audeo about 130 years old) . It evens sounds more usable for live music. The downside is that wearing that is that it has no button and automated programs wich mak it disturbing playing when the programs switch, my audiologist tells me that can’t acces it any more. So they can’t fix the automated program. (which would be enough for me)
So my questions:
Question 1: does anyone has experience with hearing aids in live music bands (drums, guitar amps etc..) and with device (RIC) for severe hearing loss would be suitable.
Question 2: Could I download older PHONAK target software with interface and cable to control the old ones.
