Last week I went to a local theater that really seems to care about people with hearing loss. The app that they have available was Sennheiser Mobile App. I first connected to their wife, then made sure my bluetooth was on. Next, I opened the app which is available inside the theater. During the performance which was in a small theater, I was able to understand about 95% of the dialog. There was a tiny delay of their talking and the words that I heard and the words did not sound "natural" but overall it was a really good experience.
The manager said that they are now ordering google glasses for the theater and they were testing different ones. I was really impressed with this and it shows that when someone cares about helping people with hearing loss hear better that there are ways to do it.
I was wondering if there will ever be a hearing aid that will work this well for speech clarity in normal every day conversations.
