Hello All,
Really a question for UK citizens. I have a 92 year old relative. She has had deteriorating hearing for many years. !00% deaf in one ear, severe /profound in other. Has Phonak Naida P70 UP supplied by NHS for the ‘good’ ear last week, but next to no assistance otherwise. Can just hear person to person but I would like to get her able to converse on her corded landline telephone.
She is not Tech savvy, no smartphone or internet, just the landline. has anyone had experience with ‘T’ coil use.
I have supplied a landline with Inductive coil but NHS have not supplied her information on how to activate her aids, and their programming is not open to other audiologists. Unfortunately I am far away from her so cannot assist as I would like. NHS do not do Home calls so she is left to her own devices, also they seem to uninterested in her phone conversation problems and difficult to get information from. Cheers John
