Hi there @alex-va great your giving a go,do read the user guides as it's very helpful for setting up the first time and don't forget you'll need the Noahlink wireless programming device as well for your projects.

These are my first hearing aids, but I have had them for a full year. When I was researching I opted for the Intent 1 because they work particularly well with high frequency loss and give the most natural sound. Since getting them I have heard many acquaintances with other brands complain about their aids sounding unnatural and tinny, a problem I have never had with my Intents. No aids can be expected to totally restore normal hearing, but I really like mine. Sometimes I wonder whether users are wanting above normal hearing from their aids. From the beginning the sound was louder, less muddy and fuller than without aids, but otherwise totally natural. My voice sounds like my voice and other sounds are not distorted. There is no doubt that the Receiver in Ear design does mean that you have to contend with glasses intersecting, but the Intent have one of the thinnest behind ear portions available. I switched to wire eye glass frames and the problem was solved. Oticon does seem to have more app connectivity issues than some brands, but my first priority with my aids is how well I can hear the world, not connection to other devices. However, I do have several devices for use with my iPad, laptop and on airplanes and they work great with my aids.

For the record, I must admit I am in the middle of re-reading the entire Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series, the source of "42" as the answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything. I was a bit thrown by the top post wanting to ask a question of Oticon Intent wearers without specifying what that question might be. Now that I see it is related to programming, it is not something I plan to be involved with, but I wish you well in the endeavor.
