Hello everyone, here’s Jason.
I will explain to you how to get organic like pure analog sound on hearing aid on Phonak Target and it wasn’t that easy task for me. It takes hours of figuring it out and made it through. According to another post explaining that in order to get analog sound, AutoSense OS needs to be disabled and put on calm situation. Make sure to put zero on omni directional and off on NoiseBlock. If there are any features, turn them off but WhistleBlock might need to balance it out due to feedback. Put on linear from Global Setting and just make sure to put comfortable target gain number. If linear sounds too strong, you can either put lower target gain or go for Semi-linear for awhile and see if you like it. At last, put (m) on all 120 by each that you already did feed there. Do not put UCL (m) on 120 db if you don’t have (x) from specific match number of own audiogram.
I spent hours on subway for two weeks trying to figure out how to reduce that kind of unnecessary annoying then found out that UCL (m) on each 120db is working and the noise is reduced and I actually speak very well and can hear everyone chatting around me. My parents and siblings face looked stunned at family dinner and said it’s impossible. Like I told them and my friends, impossible can become possible when you fight for war with your hearing aid, you can find a solution to get best sound of your life that you need for your future. It’s pretty simple for me, why would I want to hear more than 120 dB? No one would want to hear that too loud and unnecessary sound. Subway, bus or police siren that making noise are piece of cake to me right now because of UCL (m) and God blesses to Phonak for this. Good luck.
