How often get new custom ear moulds

Got this question on my mind since I feel like im getting feedback easier than before with headphones etc.

So how often we should get new custom fit because ear anyway keeps changing its shape slowly? My earmould fits still comfortably and doesn’t feel any loose, I got my last inner ear shape taken maybe 4 years ago and my new acrylic moulds always come with those specs when needed.

Best answer I can give you is to talk to your audiologist. There are adjustments that can be made to remove feedback. Feedback can be due to your hearing loss and the need to adjust the power of your aids to vlise to the limits of your aids. Maybe you need different receivers so that your aids aren’t push to close to their limits. And of course it could be your ear molds need replaced because our ear canals change as we age and or our weight changes.
