How to find prior private messages?

For private messages, select your icon/picture at the top of the page, go to the bottom and select the down arrow or the profile icon on the right and then messages. To search, I just use the search button at the top of the page. That is pretty awkward but it is the only way I know. Hopefully someone will have some tips.

I use google search with a site:hearingtracker.com modifier on the search.
