Hi, I’m wearing Oticon OPN’s. I use the Bluetooth feature often. My phone, TV adapter and car. All play directly into my HAs.
I have a need to take an online class on my MacBook and I can not figure out how to pipe the audio to my Oticons.
The most general solution would be to purchase an Oticon ConnectClip and have it paired with you hearing aids (MFI) and your MacBook (Bluetooth). That allows for a bi-directional connection. An alternate for the online class would be to connect your TV Adapter to the audio output of the MacBook but that is only one-way from the MacBook to the hearing aids via the Adapter. I use a TV Adapter for my TV and the ConnectClip for connecting to computers and a bluetooth VOIP phone at work with my OPN S 1 aids.
If you have an iPad, the hearing aids can connect directly to that (like an iPhone) and your online class should “just work” in that case. However, you may have to turn off Bluetooth in the phone when connecting to the iPad and then turn off the bluetooth in the iPad and turn it back on in the iPhone to reconnect the phone to your aids.
