This could be a really useful video for individuals who develop sudden sensorineural hearing loss, so I thought I’d share it here. I would recommend mentioning that you’ve had a sudden hearing loss when booking a hearing test and they will typically see you on the day as they understand that it is a medical emergency.

And mentioning about sudden sensorineural hearing loss and asking for steroids (and HBOT, if possible, at least 2.5 ATA) if hearings test suggests that, because many medical professionals (outside of and audiology) may not know this disease entity and treat it as, for example, auditory tube disorders
