Increasing streamed signal with TV Connector using Target

You don’t need the MyPhonak App for this task.

It is possible to adjust the Ambient balance with the buttons on the hearing aids while you are streaming. With the buttons you can adjust the focus to hear more of the streamed signal or alternatively to hear more of the surrounding environment.

While streaming you can use the two buttons on the hearing aids to gradually switch between the volume of the microphone input and the streaming sounds.

For increasing the streamed signal with TV Connector use the front button on one of the hearing aids.

By pressing several times on the front button , with every button press you will shift more volume to the streaming input and lessen/reduce the input from the microphones, so the streaming music become fuller and the voices and other noises in the room will reduced/cut off.

When you press several times on the back button you will switch to more microphone input while reducing the streaming sounds.

Thanks, this helps. Was never told this, but I’d still like the default permanently changed if possible.

I keep thinking I’ll ask my audiologist to mute the aids in all my streaming programs, or at least have the mix set to start with maximum isolation if I can’t have them starting in mute. I can change it to something later session by session if I want different, but almost every time I’m streaming (at least the first time I use that kind of streaming since booting the aids) I’m hitting that button until it beeps indicating that’s the end of the rope.
